‘It was pretty hard news to cop’: Studio 10 responds to axing of stars including Kerri-Anne Kennerley
Kerri-Anne Kennerley has joked she’s “back on the Lazy Susan of television” after yesterday’s talent cuts across Network Ten, which will see her and Natarsha Belling leave the Studio 10 team in a few weeks.
The morning show’s panel addressed the redundancies on-air this morning, with Joe Hildebrand, who looks to also be leaving the company, noting he’s still in discussions with Ten and is uncertain about what his future holds.

Adaptability. Mainstream media in AUS does a terrible job. I would not assume this sort of overhead cutting would be limited to “Network 10”.

Only an arsehole calls redundancies “future-proofing a business”. You don’t make a company stronger by removing good people from it
No where near the amount of people will watch the show after they leave as most of the viewers feel comfortable with the same people on the show and many aren’t good with change.. I won’t watch it anymore
I am horrified to hear that Mike Larkin will be leaving Ch 10. He is a very genuine weather presenter, with the ability to add variety to his presentation, i.e homeless dogs, viewers photos, etc. He will be very missed! Also, hope Joe Hildebrand remains, his performance, while sometimes ‘words tumbling over’ is worth hearing along with humorous asides. Natarsha Belling, very articulate and precise. Not so fond of her very loud laugh, but that cannot be the reason to see her go!! Bad moves Ch 10!! Sorry times
So sad to see Joe go as well as Kerry. It’s like a little family being pulled apart. I think big loss with Joe leaving. He says how it is and connects with thoughts very much so. And he’s funny. It won’t be enjoyable now. Why change something that doesn’t need be fixed. I won’t watch as it will not be as enjoyable. Joe breaks the boring up. Thanks to Joe and Kerry for your personalities. Wish you best for the future. They Chanel 10 will be the losers.
I loved studio 10. It was the only one I have watched. But not anymore. What you have done is terrible. Why did you have to do it?
