James Quinlan joins FutureBrand as executive director
Branding and experience agency FutureBrand has appointed James Quinlan as its executive director.
Quinlan was previously the vice president and head of insights and strategy insights at Converseon in New York.
Before joining Converseon, Quinlan was the vice president and head of social strategy at Publicis in New York for seven months.
He has also worked at agencies including DDB and Oddfellows.
Speaking of his appointment, Quinlan said brand strategy has seen enormous change over the past few years thanks to the emergence and understanding of data collection, analysis and design thinking.
“Having worked at a partner agency to FutureBrand on the 2015 Cadillac brand relaunch, I’ve been impressed by how the company not only operates across all elements of their clients’ businesses, but also by how they constantly evolve their approach to their branding work,” he said.
Richard Curtis, CEO at FutureBrand, said in a statement: “I’ve known and admired James for a number of years, so it’s exciting to add someone with his smarts to our team in Australia – plus to be able to have James play a pivotal role in the Asia Pacific region as part of our uniquely integrated regional model.
“Not only will this better enable how we build brands with technology through experience design, but also extend our use of data and analytics to guide how businesses create and manage their brands.”
