JC Decaux announces new leadership lineup, making three APN Outdoor executives redundant
Following the approved merger of JC Decaux and APN Outdoor, the out of home company has announced its new leadership lineup and made three APN Outdoor executives redundant.
Steve O’Connor, CEO of the combined JC Decaux and APN Outdoor business has appointed Andrew Hines as chief operating officer, Brendan O’Neil as chief financial officer, Max Eburne as chief commercial officer, Jeremy Howe as chief strategy and innovation officer, Essie Wake as chief marketing officer and Mike Watkins as New Zealand country head.
The leadership team came into effect yesterday.
Wow they made the only two females executives redundant and one who is heavily pregnant?
Where are all the seniorwomen at JC Decaux?
They made four people redundant. Two male and two female.
Good to see diversity isn’t an issue in outdoor? We need to try harder gentleman!
Outdoor has always been the Wild West, ruled by pink shirted, grey suited cowboys.
No place for diversity around Fitzroy St!
How can we have a crack here ? The best people in the best jobs by the looks of things to me . This industry loves to find a negative , crazy !!!
Everyone who’s worked in this market for a fair amount of time will know that the best people were retained. The JC Decaux acquisition has been received extremely positively by the staff of APN and are excited by the challenge ahead.
As for the naysayers and/or people wanting to troll; I’m sure their healthy payout for what was a very short tenure will go some way to making them feel better about themselves.
Essie Wake has the smarts of 3 women, so should balance out….
