Jeep ad forced off air over Bear Grylls conflict

A TV spot for Jeep which features the endline ‘The original bare grills” has been removed from air by Discovery Channel after a complaint that the ad conflicted with a deal adventurer Bear Grylls has signed with Discovery and Nissan X-Trail, announced yesterday.

The 15-second spot, which is a slowed-down, edited version of an ad for Jeep which shows only the vehicle’s radiator grills, aired this weekend on Sky News, Ten and Discovery.
