JMB FX wins Emmy
Queensland’s JMB FX Studio won the Emmy for Most Outstanding Prosthetics for a Series, Mini-Series or Movie for its work on the mini-series The Pacific.
“This was the largest production we have worked on in relation to the scope of the design, the fabrication and the shoot, spanning over 13 months. I am very proud of my entire team and the recognition we have received with this Emmy Award win,” said designer and department head Jason Baird.
What about acknowledging the Emmy for Best Art Direction for a Movie or Mini Series 2010?
Art Department was primarily Australians who did fantastic work on the sets in Port Douglas and Melbourne.
Let’s give credit to ALL the skilled Australian crew that worked on ‘The Pacific’ – chippies, painters, sculptures, greenspersons, set dressers, makeup, etc
It’s the below the line crew that creates the sets for the actors to shine!
