Jonathan Brown and Sam Pang to join Chrissie Swan on Nova100 hosting breakfast in 2016
Nova100 has announced that Chrissie Swan will be joined by AFL star Jonathan Brown and comedian Sam Pang hosting Melbourne breakfast on the station in 2016.
The appointment comes less than a month after the station dumped its previous breakfast duo Tommy Little and Meshel Laurie, after Laurie had already announced she was defecting to Kiis 101.1 in 2016.
The last ratings survey had Nova100 at sixth with a 6.8 per cent share in people 10+ and a 6.4 share in breakfast.

Reality bod, footy player & bitter, third string ‘comedian’: point of difference?
N-over.
First time I’ve ever seen Pang described as a comedian. Host or broadcaster sure.
Pang seems like a genuinely nice guy. Bitter is not something that comes to mind.
Does it really matter who does breakfast radio these days? Commercial radio has become so bland, safe and mundane that the hosts just seem interchangeable.
A breakfast radio team consisting of footballer, a comedian and a woman. How bloody original!!!
I tend to agree with Nuff Sed. Commercial radio, particularly FM, just seems to be a constant recycling of comedians, reality show stars and sports people. The same names just get shuffled around from station to station and you do get the idea they could just all be interchangeable. If this Nova line-up fails, they’ll just replace them with more comedians, reality stars and sports people. And the cycle goes on…
Should have been Chrissie and Jane and Sam Pang.
