Just 528,000 tune in for grand final of Hell’s Kitchen
Seven’s celebrity cooking contest, Hell’s Kitchen, managed a mere 528,000 metro viewers for its grand final as Debra Lawrance was crowned the winner.
In back-to-back episodes the semi-final, which aired at 7.30pm, had 46,000 less viewers, only attracting a metro audience of 482,000 – the lowest audience ever for the program – according to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings.

Viewings were low because half of the state of Victoria was without power!! It went out at 7.30 and didn’t come back on till 10.30
Half the state Barb? Melbourne & Geelong power was on which is at least 80% of the state’s population. So really 3 hours of no power in some backwater town would make zero difference to ratings.
