Ex-Qantas comms chief Justin Kelly appointed media director at Mercury Consulting

The former head of corporate communications and PR of Qantas has been appointed media director at the Mercury Consulting, an Australian investor and media relations company.

Justin Kelly comes to the role as a Walkley Award-winning journalist, holding senior roles in the past as chief of staff at Channel Nine News, senior producer at A Current Affair, and news director at 2GB.

He was also senior media officer to NSW premier Morris Iemma and executive media officer to NSW police commissioner Peter Ryan.
