Kellogg’s in hunt for new marketing director

Kellogg Australia and New Zealand in searching for a new marketing director.

The news comes as the incumbent marketing chief, Kalyan Bandyopadhyay, moves to a new role in China.

Bandyopadhyay calls time on two years in the top Kellogg’s marketing job in Australia. He has been with the company since 2005.

The company is advertising the role internally and externally in the next few weeks. The new marketing director will inherit agency relationships with JWT, Mindshare, Tongue and Liquid Ideas.

“We’d like to thank Kalyan for his solid contribution to the ANZ business and wish him well in his exciting new role growing one of Kellogg’s emerging markets,” said HR director Michelle Bakar. “We’ll be recruiting as soon as possible to ensure a smooth transition and to build on the early successes we’ve enjoyed in 2012.”
