KFC celebrates 50 years of ‘Finger lickin’ good’ with a throw back to 1968
Fast food chain KFC has celebrated its 50th birthday in Australia by throwing back to 1968, when the first KFC outlet opened in Sydney’s Guildford and the brand produced its first television ad.
Created by Ogilvy Sydney, the ad is set in April 1968 at a dinner table where a mother and son are eating their meal until someone brings in a bucket of KFC.
The old ad is better.
Any idea where the bucket ad was filmed?
Does anyone think that the guy that brings in the bucket looks like Patrick Swayze?
What street is KFC add done in. Looks like a street in Ashfield Sydney
Yes, what street was the ad filmed in. It looks like a street in Croydon.
