KiisFM launches kissing campaign with Jackie O snogging a dog
As the official radio ratings year kicked off this week KiisFM and 2DayFM have launched their marketing campaigns, with KiisFM producing ads for Sydney and the new Melbourne market.
The spots feature a line up of radio talent from the stations sharing a kiss along a line, with Kyle Sandilands posing with a blonde while Jackie O is stuck with a dog.
Why are the lesbian kisses reduced to little pecks on the cheek while the hetero kisses are full on lip locks?
Pathetic.
Do something original Kiis. First you rip of the real and far superior KissFM’s name and now you rip off Wren Studio Promo ‘First Kiss.
Given the choice between Kyle and the dog I would take the dog too.
These ads are both so old fashioned and unoriginal. The KIIS ad is a complete rip off and the 2DAY one looks like the graphics from Nine’s GO! channel five years ago.
They could have spent a little less on make-up for Kyle and more on the idea.
They ripped off KIIS Los Angeles. Unfortunately they didn’t do anything to replicate that brand, except using cringe worthy American accents. their mission was to replicate every other top 40 station and their lowest common denominator style.
