Kim Williams for the ABC?
Time for Dr Mumbo to float a theory.
ABC boss Mark Scott is nearly half way through his second five year term at the ABC.
Outgoing News Corp Australia boss Kim Williams – a former boss of Foxtel, Fox Studios, the Australian Film Commission, Southern Star Entertainment and chairman of Sydney Opera House – will presumably have to serve out a non-compete period, which keeps him out of the market for a while.
He’d make a good successor to Mark Scott, wouldn’t he?
He’d also make a good sidekick for Danger Mouse.

Would love to see him CEO of the ABC! His talents would be much better utilised than at that neo-con, right wing propaganda machine News Corp. Am I paranoid or was the Hogan’s Heroes stunt designed to provoke his resignation??
His demise had been hinted in the media at ever since ColPot arrived on the scene after all….
His last stint at the ABC – setting up a pay TV channel – ended in disaster. THe multi-million dollar Fort Knox was his legacy
Doubt it and they could not afford him.
My bet is that if the NBN survives, Kim would be a very strong candidate to run the roll out.
