Kraft and Smiths to launch Vegemite-flavoured chips
Kraft and Smiths are joining forces to bring Australia chips that taste of Vegemite.
According to a story in yesterday’s The Sunday Telegraph, the chips are set to go on sale next month.
The advertising behind the new product is expected to be produced inhouse by Coles – but because the news was leaked, the campaign is believed to have been delayed.
JWT Melbourne handles Kraft’s Vegemite brand, but is not involved in the launch.
The new chip will be sold for 12 weeks from October 6, but only at Coles stores, according to The Telegraph.
“You either love it or you hate it”… no wait was that Marmite?

Cool but where’s the iSnack 2.0 flavoured chips?
@Clinton, Marmite? Me thinks you are either a Pom or a Kiwi.
i hope a thick slab of butter is on each chip to go with the vegemite.
How much salt can we take?
let’s just keep producing crap and bag the Cancer Council and others for being an oppositional voice in the wilderness shall we?
