Lani’s Story wins two EVA Awards

Lani’s Story won two awards at the national  EVA Awards (Eliminating Violence Against Women Awards).

Written and directed by first-time, Indigenous filmmaker Genevieve Grieves and produced by Rachel Perkins and Darren Dale’s Blackfella Films, Lani’s Story tells the harrowing tale of Lani Brennan’s life through domestic violence and her subsequent long and courageous fight for justice.

The film picked up awards for Best Television Current Affairs (more than 20 mins) and the GOLD EVA for Best Media Across Categories.
