Liberal Party attack ad marks ‘Four years of Labor disasters’
The Liberal Party has launched an attack-ad to mark the fourth anniversary of Labor coming to power.
The ad mixes black and white still images with video, highlighting Labor’s alliance with the Greens, the coup that ousted former PM Kevin Rudd and the carbon tax, among other “disasters”.
Reality bites. Ouch!
Federal politics stinks to high heaven. Both parties make me feel like gagging. Labour and the frigging Liberals. When are we going to get more quality in our federal parliament?
Yawn.
Tedium bites. Fight on policies, not contrarianism.
@AdGrunt Maybe the Libs are just conceding that what you say before the election won’t matter afterward and not bothering.
Unimaginative advertising doesn’t work.
Its so easy to take potshots at the other side of parliament. Especially when you stand for nothing.
The ad sucks, but the drumming is awesome!
Why do they keep spelling Labor wrong?
Who’d be in politics when you can earn more as an ad wally commenting on blogs, selling junk to people and contributing nothing to public life.
Maybe or system needs a re think.
I would have thought that everybody knew all of these facts by now, why the re-hash? People who dont know these facts by now probably are not going to bother even voting. maybe people do have a short memory?
Saves the Libs actually having to have their own policies i guess.
Does Abbott have any other trick, other than being Chief Headkicker?
An attack ad. Who would have seen THAT coming?!?
A classic case of nothing to say. Talk about a waste of money.
The scariest bit is at the end, when Father Tony shows his head, neck and thorax. I’m uncertain whether he wants to be our next PM or the next Spider-Man villain.
I was out of the country when the election was held (and thus am not responsible), but I reckon, as so often happens, Australia got the government and opposition, it voted for and deserves, irrespective of the advertising bumpf of all parties.
Forget the content, what’s with the drum solo? Most out of place soundtrack ever!
How ironic, this also marks 4 years of liberal advertising disasters!
