Good to see that Aldi’s introduced a new product to its shelves. Remind you of anything?
Dr Mumbo’s correspondent tells him: “I do hope it’s Aussie made!”

Aldi is an embodiment of the fact that trade dress lawsuits are very hard to win…!
Haha, very subtle!
98% of ALDI’s “passing off” Brands are AUSSIE MADE, = Brillant!
Now check the back of your woolies or coles Peanut Butter jar…its MADE IN CHINA (But…only your wife knows that!)
Un-Australian.
Give me “My Mate” any day…
Aldi may not have to worry about Kraft / Vegemite suing them for trademark infringement if Kraft / Vegemite is the maker of Brekky Mite.
The fact that Vegemite used to be one of the few brands you could buy at Aldi suggests they were already in bed together (Ja Herr Kraft! Ja! Ja!). You probably couldn’t make Vegemite less expensively, but you can put a different label on it.
I’ve just been informed by an aldi fan that they also stock vegemite
Inspired by this, I went the full taste test on the product:

BTW, it’s made in Brazil.
Actually not too bad as a replacement for Vegemite,
The difference is only more apparent when first switching. After a week or two, the difference is less noticeable, then you have some vegemite and have the same reaction as you did to the brekkie mite at first! I cannot eat mars bars ever again after eating only aldi’s Titan bars for so long! Tried one the other day and was like “YUK!” lol
Sounds like you have a very refined palate, Alex
