Lisa Davies to step down as AAP chief
Lisa Davies has resigned as CEO of Australian Associated Press, after three years in the top role.
Davies joined AAP in February 2022 from the Sydney Morning Herald, where she was editor for four years.
Last year, she helped secure $33 million in federal funding for the next three years, which AAP chair Gail Hambly called a testament to the national newswire’s “crucial role in providing independent, fact-based news.”
