Logie Awards cancelled for 2020
The television industry’s big awards night, the TV Week Logie Awards, is the latest large-scale event to be canned in the wake of COVID-19.
The annual event is organised by Bauer Media’s weekly magazine TV Week and is broadcast on Nine.
The Celebrities! Won’t somebody think of the Celebrities….
It won’t be back. Just like Cleo, the Logies is an Aussie cultural icon that has somewhat faded in relevance, and the Germans have no sentimentality towards at all.
Will be surprised to see it back.
