Macca’s opens giant Fry-Thru at Darling Harbour for World Cup

McDonald’s has opened a 5m tall restaurant shaped like a packet of fries in Darling Harbour as part of its global sponsorship of the FIFA Women’s World Cup.

The giant structure, called the Fry-Thru, will be serving fries at Tumbalong Park, within the FIFA Fan Festival, from Thursday, and is one of a number of installations taking place across Australia in celebration of the upcoming World Cup.

David Morris, Brand Manager for McDonald’s Australia, said: “We are excited to create unforgettable experiences for fans across the country at the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023.
