Mad Max: Fury Road holds off Spy to top box office for second consecutive week
Mad Max: Fury Road has topped the Australian box office for the second week in a row, taking $4.169m from 473 screens to hold off new Melisa McCarthy film Spy.
The fourth film in the Mad Max franchise – produced 30 years after the third instalment – has earned $12.601m since it opened.
Fox flick Spy, which also stars Jason Statham, came second over the weekend, earning $3.623m off 377 screens.
