Major VFX companies take on trainees

Five practitioners will start a traineeship through the Screen NSW Visual Effects Placement Scheme

The five trainees will work across post, VFX and animation companies – working for Fuel VFX, FSM, Flying Bark Productions and Dr. D Studios.

The five  trainees are:

  • Colin Ware, 3D Artist – Fuel VFX;
  • Amanda Lee, 3D Artist and Animator – FSM;
  • Melanie Cook, Concept/Storyboard Artist – Flying Bark Productions;
  • Lissa Pascale Brown, 3D Artist – Dr. D Studios;
  • Brad Roddy, Compositor – Dr. D Studios.

According to Minister for the Arts Virginia Judge, 69 trainees have been placed through this program over the past decade.
