Thinkerbell appoints Margie Reid as managing director
Four months after launching, Thinkerbell has announced Margie Reid will be leading the agency as managing director.
Reid, the former managing director at OMD, departed the media agency in September after 11 years.
Reid will start with the agency on January 8
She’s a gun. Joins a formidable line up. And great to see some gender diversity in the management team.

It was obvious that Margie would end up somewhere brilliant. She was behind OMD’s last big wins and there hasn’t been any really big wins since Coles, Target and Village Roadshow at the beginning of 2016. The new management at OMD is barely managing decline and I wonder how long that can last? It was a big mistake to let Margie go considering what a
new biz dynamo she is. If I were at OMD as a client or employee I would be deeply worried. Thinkerbell are a force to be reckoned with in a market that needs shaking up. Good luck to her.
