Mark Latham, Rowan Dean and Ross Cameron land Sunday morning ‘Outsiders’ show on Sky News
Three of Sky News’ most outspoken commentators, Mark Latham, Ross Cameron and Rowan Dean, have been given a new Sunday morning discussion show called ‘Outsiders’.
The trio will go up directly after the popular Barrie Cassidy-fronted ABC commentary show ‘Insiders’ at 10:00am, to give their take on the events of the week.
According to the press release: “Former Labor leader, Mark Latham, former Liberal MP, Ross Cameron, and editor of The Spectator Australia, Rowan Dean, set to fire up Sunday mornings with their no-holds-barred observations on the political week that was.”
To quote the peeps over at Junkee:
“Because what Australia really needs is a show hosted by three conservative white guys”.
This is just embarrassing.
Yes Buffster, having seen Outsiders yesterday, I can well understand that it is an embarrassment to many on the hard left and to the politically correct. I for one of the old white males in Oz do believe I have rights of thought and expression equal to those of the self appointed elitists. I trust that Outsiders will not be bullied into submission.

We all love those tremendous intelectuals, who are sacrificing their pressure time to educate people like Buffster, who I believe belogs to those people that Mark Twain made us aware over 100 years ago in his say: “never argue with stupid people, they will drug you down to their level and then beat you with experience”. But, Buffster wemust never forget the awesome power of stupidity.
This might be fun if you’ve had a big night and are still on the drink. Latham playing his desperate bozo caper, Cameron with his try hard Christianity and Dean who mixes a faux intellectualism with the humour of an undergrad 17 year old advertising gofer.
In fact if you’re not pissed already it would be enough to get you started.

It’s convenient to forget that in the past (and we’re not talking all that historical when you consider women’s access to complete financial control happened as recently as the 1990’s or the right of indigenous people to vote occurred 60 years after white people) white men had ALL the access to education, power and resources while women and POC had effectively, none. It’s pretty easy to be the people creating things when no one else is allowed to. The women and POC who achieved and invented great things did so in spite of the system designed to keep them subjugated to white men so in some ways their achievements are far greater.
But by all means, keep spinning down your relevance spiral. Your thud when you get to the bottom won’t generate any sympathy from me.

I read Rowan Dean’s editorial in the oz spectator gloating over the trump win. I turn a few pages and the editorial of the real spectator refers to trump as “grotesque”.
So it does seem fair to refer to him as both elite and a narrow minority view.
I don’t agree with Rowan’s politics and he can be a bit smug on the tele, (but nowhere near Todd Sampson levels of smugness), but he is a nice bloke to work with.
I worked with him when he was Creative Director at Euro and he was a nice guy to work with, not a tosspot like many CD’s.
He seems to be doing well for himself on the tele so good for him.
Well we are certainly looking forward to the trio of Latham, Ross and Rowan Dean on Outsiders. We think they will pull a good audience. So many people had enough of free to air and the lefties and politically correct. If you say something they dont like/ believe in you are instantly a bigot. In reality it is they who are the bigots.

Not since our troops returned from the Vietnam War and were spat on by Politicians and lefties alike have I craved for a show like yours. I am one of those white male Australians who you described on your show and have been wondering for years when we would be defended.
I am not sure where to begin to lavish praise in respect to the many issues aired but I am particularly pleased to hear the comments of Mark Latham in respect to this horrible so called journalist McGreggor being a Queenslander of the Year, Australian of the Year Finalists then complaining that the title be removed, how on earth was he/she ever given a position that brings her into my home through my favourite newspaper.
Anyway fellows you have me and my friends hooked and we cannot wait for the next episode. I will be telling everyone who will listed to either be tuned in or to tape the show. Thank God for some sanity.

Good on ya! We want this alternative to the ‘everything can be solved by female luvvies while having afternoon tea and cream cakes’. Women have it rough in the workplace and so do an even greater number of men. Women face domestic violence and so do men from snake-tongued women. Food arrives at the table through a lot of people getting their hands filthy dirty and not by discussions about political correctness. If ‘The Drum’ must be shown then have four male or female truck drivers or sewage workers or teachers of the ‘educationally extremely challenged delinquents’ give their version of what has to be done. Let the ABC reporters go to Darwin and do the night shift at a detention centre for ten years; let them raise the tone in abattoirs; see if they can get dogs to race and also refuse to buy their fashionable coutures produced in Asian sweatshops on Melbourne Cup day.
Keep the covers on for ABC discussions. Let The Outsiders expose the realities.

* Love the Outsiders… but I can’t imagine who’s running the Show’s
(self) promotion. You guys are smart, with a senses of humour your audience enjoys and your left- liberal enemies hate. So far so good. But, in the end, it’s a serious message you send.
When you put on funny hats and engage in Marx Bros buffoonery to
promote such a good (unique?)
and essentially serious product, you can hardly blame (some) people for not taking you seriously. That would be a pity. I urge you to drop the Three Stooges nonsense and give the Show a bit of promotional gravitas.
* Also, with respect, might I suggest that the ‘musical’ introduction to the Show ( almost non-existent) hardly elicits ‘excitement’. I’m no expert, but surely the Producers can find something more ‘exciting’ to lead into your first pronouncements.

went to lunch today with another couple ( white , husband and wife ) the first 2 hours were taken up with the Outsiders , lots of laughs .
you have done a great job bringing reality to Australia. Many may not like it , but the Majority have had enough of the ” elitist ” crap.

The polish will develop as you grow but the substance and intention is already there. “Outsiders ” MUST continue as a rare haven for those desperate for confirmation that there are a few in the media prepared to represent those who can think for themselves and develop opinions on the basis of logic, common sense and facts.

Great show today, as usual, but scary, as usual. What a bleak future our country faces with this ‘march through our Institutions’ now apparently unstoppable.
I find it appalling that the history of our wonderful pioneers, our intrepid explorers is being trashed and something to be ashamed of. I am not ashamed, nor am I, as Peta Credlin said, embarrassed.
Not to mention the control the Safe Schools now has on minds too young to be exposed to this dangerous type of brainwashing.
Like I said, great show, but scary. I can only hope your audience grows

Ross Cameron & Rowan Dean are true Australians and tell it the way it is. Their stance together with Andrew Bolt another true Aussie, against the evil ideology of ISLAM is brilliant. The comment made by l think it was Ross Cameron that the money spent on reducing the carbon emissions could have built 3 or 4 nuclear power stations.
Now as true as this statement may be, the problem is each and every one of these nuclear stations become not only a prime target but a ready made dirty bomb at least.
Blow up a gas, coal, hydro, thermal or solar power station all you have is a hole in the ground.
Our children will be the ones paying the price.
Suffering radiation fall out and fo8d chain and water table contamination.
Nuclear power generation is not an option and should never be even contemplated.
Safe, clean, cheap (short and long term) power is achievable and should be everyones top priority.

Really enjoy your show, Have been watching channel 601 for 20 odd years , you 2 plus Andy Bolt and Paul Murray have made it a pleasure to watch 601, I have only one request of you 4 , do your best to get rid of Turnbull , he is a liability to the coalition, with him in the chair can only help Labor to victory, Turnbull as a Liberal can only help Pauline and Cory’s parties become stronger, sorry that Mark Lathan is not in your show. Tony Abbott has only spoken out in London because he knows there are people like you two, Andrew Bolt and now Mark Latham back at home who are going to defend the cause. When he has the ABC and the whole media (pack of dogs)against him he has to know that he has others prepared to follow if he is going to achieve anything at all!! We are so passionate about this issue, about political correctness and the way our children are being indoctrinated by the left ideologies, and we thank God every day that you keep up the passion.
