Mark Ritson’s top ten marketing moments of 2025
Mark Ritson, the founder of the Mini MBA, has been recording an annual rundown of the top ten marketing moments for close to two decades now, and this year he’s been kind enough to share his wisdom with the Mumbrella audience.
In this entertaining and informative video, Ritson highlights what he refers to as “a paradigm change in advertising”, looks at how a pharmaceutical giant avoided a five-alarm public relations crisis by basically doing nothing (which Ritson explains, still equates to doing something), and Tesla’s attempt to create a fighter brand to take on the rush of Chinese companies doing the EV in a sleeker, more affordable manner.
There’s the dissection of one famous company’s brand positioning “shit show”, some huge CEO changes, and you better believe there’s talk of jeans, genes, and Sweeney.
Okay, that’s enough of the spoilers – let’s roll the film.
