Mashable Australia hunts for new editor as Jen Ryall moves to New York
Mashable Australia is hunting for a new editor as current editor Jen Ryall moves to New York to join the American team as real time senior editor.
Ryall has been editor of the site since its launch in 2014. Before that she worked for news.com.au and Yahoo7.
In New York, Ryall will report to chief content content officer Greg Giitrich.
The online publication is yet to find a replacement for Ryall and is currently advertising the role.
According to the job ad, the candidate will be responsible for building, leading and growing Mashable’s editorial operation in Australia.
“The Australia Editor is a self-starter who understands the needs of a growing digital news operation, who is collaborative by nature and who can work well with other journalists and digital developers,” the job ad reads.
Good on ya, Jenni! No doubt you’ll kill it in NYC
