MasterCard brings back fanatical All Blacks fan ‘Tim’ to launch PayPass in New Zealand
MasterCard has brought back fanatical All Blacks fan ‘Tim’ in a new campaign to launch the credit card’s PayPass contactless technology in New Zealand.
The first campaign starring ‘Tim’, a promotional spot called Check In, was voted among New Zealand’s best – and worst – ads in a Fair Go poll last October.
The latest 30-second TV ad, also created by McCann Australia, shows All Blacks captain Richie McCaw, Ali Williams and Ma’a Nonu enjoying the benefit of speedy contactless payment as they rush to Tim’s wedding.

After this and the spot with the little kid i like mastercard ads again.
