Masterchef elimination beats Big Brother eviction in Tuesday night TV battle
The battle between reality juggernauts Big Brother and Masterchef had a new victor last night, with Ten’s cooking show winning the prime-time battle with 1.016m metro viewers. Seven’s Big Brother had 842,000 for its elimination and 817,000 for the main episode.
This represents a switch from Monday night, when Big Brother’s debut had 853,000 for the arrival of its contestants, 866,000 for the primary episode, and 930,000 for the eviction, while Masterchef had 854,000.
With the addition of regional viewers last night, Masterchef climbed to 1.314m, while Big Brother had 1.112m. The elimination had 1.142m.
Omgosh. This was pre-recorded before Covid and the housemates voted not the whole of Australia.
