Masterchef pulls in 965,000 as Seven wins the night

MasterchefMasterchef pulled in 965,000 metro viewers at 7:30pm last night to be the most-watched non-news show of the evening.

It was also the most-watched show across the key advertising demographics (16-39, 18-49 and 25-54), out-rating Seven’s House Rules which drew a metro audience of 787,000.

Both shows’ beat Nine’s The Big Bang Theory which grabbed 753,000, while a second episode of the US sitcom airing at 8:00pm was watched by 640,000.

Seven won the night with a share of 20% ahead of Nine’s share of 17%. Ten claimed third place with a share of 15.3% as the ABC settled for a share of 12.2%.
