Masterchef ties with Nine News to be the most-watched show as Ten beats Nine in share
On a quiet night in TV Ten’s reality cooking show Masterchef was the most-watched non-news show of the evening, grabbing 1.01m metro viewers in the 7.30pm timeslot.
Ten claimed second place in terms of audience share with a share of 16.1 per cent, behind Seven’s winning share of 20.8 per cent. Nine settled for third place with a share of 15.9 per cent while the ABC posted a share of 12.4 per cent despite a special Q&A on LBTIQ rights which was well down on the usual Monday audiences.
When secondary channels are accounted for, Nine claimed second place with a total share of 25.5 per cent, ahead of Ten’s total share of 21.6 per cent.
Masterchef was the most-watched show across the key advertising demographics (16-39, 18-49 and 25-54).

No idea what you two are talking about. your figures differ and I have no idea what one is trying to tel the other
Don’t worry about what one is trying to tell the other, rather be worried that, of all the programming of all the major telecasters, Masterchef and Nine News are what the majority of viewers prefer to watch.
