Masterchef the most-watched non-news show, Seven wins with news double

News dominated a quiet Thursday evening with no non-news show breaking the 1m viewer mark with Ten’s Masterchef pulling in 912,000 metro viewers at 7:30pm to be the most-watched non-news program of the evening.

The cooking show easily out-rated Nine’s RBT, which was watched by 610,000.

Masterchef was the most-watched program across the key advertising demographics (16-39, 18-49 and 25-54) while Ten’s Shark Tank was the second most popular choice for 16-39 year olds and 18-49 year olds – pulling in 595,000 metro viewers at 8:40pm. It was down on last week’s audience of 646,000.
