MEC retains SA Government campaign account and wrestles ‘functional’ element from Starcom
MEC has retained the South Australian Government’s $30m brand campaign business in addition to wrestling the ‘functional’ non-campaign component of the account from incumbent Starcom MediaVest.
MEC has held the campaign portion on the account since 2010.
The functional account will be handled in partnership with WPP sister agency Blaze and will provide MEC with a “broader whole of Government perspective”, chief executive Peter Vogel said.
