Mediacom hires Nic Hodges as head of innovation and technology
MediaCom has continued the re-engineering of its senior lineup with the appointment of Nic Hodges – digital creative director at Clemenger BBDO – in the new role of head of innovation and technology.
Hodges – who writes the Uneven Distribution blog – has also previously worked at digital agencies Sputnik and NetX and at M&C Saatchi.
A think piece by Hodges on the role of brands in social media recently won him a trip to the International Advertising Association’s World Congress in Moscow.
Mediacom CEO Toby Jenner said: “Whilst most agencies are wrestling with how they integrate their digital offer we have already done this, we are now working with clients to see how technology can play a more central role in delivering innovative communication solutions, Nic is the perfect person to lead this. We are delighted that he has chosen to further develop his career at Mediacom, he’s a great talent.”
Congratulations to both Nic and Mediacom
Nicely done Nic!
He’s a wordy bugger, but whipsmart. Good hire.
Congrats Nic!
Yes, good luck Nic. You will be awesome!
Congratulations Nic (and Mediacom). I’m sure you’ll make a fantastic contribution.
Huge congrats to a top guy who deserves an awesome opportunity like this.
Massive loss to Clems BBDO.
Well done Nic.
Congrats Nic! All the best with the new role.
If innovative thinking can “come from anywhere” why is the industry so insular in its hiring practices?? There’s nothing innovative here.
Kudos on the new gig Nic!
When is all the talk from Jenner and co going to convert into business? See lots of “Change” with no results….the clock is ticking
Well done Nic, congratulations!
Just keep on writing and I will be happy http://nichodges.com/wordpress/?cat=17
