Melbourne radio ratings: Christian O’Connell bucks FM downturn as Ross and Russel stay #1

AM radio had strong results in Melbourne, as lockdowns continued to provide a boost to talkback, with #1 breakfast show Ross and Russel adding to their already significant lead.

Ross and Russel climbed 0.7 percentage points to reach a 20.8% share of listening, while ABC’s Sammy J enjoyed an even bigger boost, up 2.2 points to 16%, climbing further into outright second.
