Melbourne’s radio revenue again ahead of Sydney but overall down

Radio revenue dropped across the country in January compared to last year, but the notable feature was that Melbourne only recorded a slight dip to again reap more than Sydney.

It was the second month in a row this has happened, according to figures released by Commercial Radio Australia.

Overall there was a 3% drop to $44 million, with Perth again the only market to rise after it also did so in December.
