Meta’s reported Twitter competitor set to steal Musk’s users: Similarweb

The reported Twitter competitor set to be released by Meta is in prime position to take users leaving Twitter if Meta is able to leverage its Instagram customer base, according to data from Similarweb.

Meta is reportedly set to release an Instagram spinoff that would allow users to make text posts up to 500 characters long with attached links, photos and videos.

The new app will also interoperate with other Twitter competitors like Mastodon to expand the app’s reach. The tech giant has not disputed the reports.
