Hi Kaye. We recommend that you get the ‘all clear’ from your health professional before participating in a structured exercise program, such as 12WBT. They will be able to give you guidelines about which exercises you can and can’t do. We then encourage you to modify your Exercise Plan to suit you – your experienced teammates and the Trainers on the Support Crew will be able to help you with this if you’re unsure. You won’t ever be alone. Our Move Program might be a good place for you to start – all of the exercises in its Exercise Plans are low impact and low intensity, making it the perfect program for those have injures and/or health concerns that require them to begin a fitness regime.
Keep in mind, because weight loss is 80% nutrition, 20% exercise, even if you can’t follow the Exercise Plans exactly as Michelle has created them you can still achieve fantastic results by following the Meal Plan, watching Mish’s Mindset Videos and connecting with teammates in the Member Zone.
