Michelle Gunn appointed editor of The Australian

The Australian has a new editor with The Weekend Australian editor Michelle Gunn adding the title to her remit.

Gunn replaces John Lehmann who will move into a role as commercial director and managing editor for the News Corp Australia title.

Gunn is the first female editor of The Australian in the title’s history
