Mind Fire still looking for a distributor

The independent thriller Mind Fire is currently in post-production, but it has not yet found a distribution partner.

According to producer Dylan Schenvekeld, a number of Australian distributors have seen a rough cut and while most provided positive feedback, nothing has been officially signed yet.

The film was shot late last year on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. It was independently financed, with a budget of $500,000.

Like most independent films, Mind Fire is having difficulties finding a distributor willing to make a commitment. One major company said they could not work with the film because they only distribute films with a minimum budget of $3m.
