My Kitchen Rules wins night as The Block and I’m a Celebrity outrated by ABC’s 7.30
Each channel’s big reality franchise saw audience numbers drop last night, with the second outing of Seven’s My Kitchen Rules winning the night despite its audience dropping to 1.4m after grabbing 1.596m viewers on debut when it was simulcast on 7Mate.
Nine’s The Block: Triple Play saw its audience slide from 802,000 on Monday evening to 739,000 last night, while week on week it has seen its audience decline by 121,000 viewers from 860,000 last Tuesday evening, when it was also most timeshifted show, with an extra 92,000 viewers boosting last Tuesday’s audience to 953,000.
Ten’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here also saw its audience decline from 755,000 on Monday to 685,000 last night, despite teasing audiences with footage of Maureen McCormick eating bugs in the Tucker Trial. Both shows were out-rated by the ABC’s 7.30 which was watched by 764,000 viewers.
However, according to Ten the show had an audience of 705,000 viewers as it ran seven minutes overtime.
 
	
I think you’ll probably find those celebrity figures adjusted upwards a little once to take into account actual starting times but I think I’m a celebrity will probably keep heading south.
