Mojo’s creative chief: I don’t want silos or fiefdoms

The creative department of Publicis Mojo Sydney is undergoing a structural and cultural revamp following the departure of highly-prized ECD Micah Walker.

Co-chairman and chief creative officer of the Mojo group in Australia and New Zealand Craig Davis took full creative control of the Sydney office following Walker’s exit in July.

He told Mumbrella that he has put into place a “flatter” structure within the creative department based on the principle of “meritocracy”.

“I’ll be more more hands on at the agency,” he said. “But I want a flatter, meritocratic system. I don’t silos or fiefdoms. I’m not just looking to change the structure of our creative department, I want to change the culture.”
