Money For Jam delivers for Nine

Nine appears to have got its Wednesday nights back on track with cash saving tips show Money For Jam beating Seven’s World’s Strictest Parents.

Money For Jam debuted with an audience of 1.324m, according to preliminary ratings from OzTam. The figure was just ahead of World’s Strictest Parents’ 1.307m, and more than double the final episode of Australia’s Perfect Couple which ran in the same slot last week.

The show helped Nine to a respectable 27% share, just behind Seven’s 28.6%. However, once Nine’s entertainment channel Go’s audience is added, its share of viewing rose to 28.7%, giving Nine a narrow network win for the night.

Meanwhile, Nine’s Wednesday revival spelled bad news for Ten, which failed to get a single show into the top 15. The 7pm Project slumped to 602,000 and Ten was beaten into fourth place by the ABC.
