Morning battle swings back to Seven

The established order reasserted itself in the battle between Seven and Nine yesterday with Sunrise beating Today and Deal Or No Deal beating Hot Seat.

Seven’s Sunrise rated 368,000 while Today brought in an average of 337,000, according to preliminary overnight five city metro ratings from OzTam. It won in every city but Melbourne.

However, early Today narrowly beat early Sunrise by 20,000 viewers.

It was a reverse of yesterday’s results which saw Sunrise – boosted by Nine’s Winter Olympics coverage – move in front.
