AdWeek: Hefty Is Now Sexing Up Garbage Men
“Following the trend of hunky men peddling not-so-hunky products (like Liquid-Plumr andKraft salad dressing) is Hefty with its new “Ultimate Garbage Men” commercial.
This ad both objectifies men and is derogatory to garbage workers Australia wide. I will be making a complaint to the ad standards board.
My initial reaction to @Foot Shoe’s comment was ‘give me a bloody break’ but the more I thought about it… if this ad featured women it’d blow up.

And with standards board passing the Lynx ‘Balls’ ad, do you think this one will bother them?
