The Guardian: Rebekah Brooks’s return hints at Murdoch’s hatred of establishment
Asked what his main priority was at the height of the phone-hacking scandal – not long after the closure of the News of the World and the launch of a huge criminal investigation – Rupert Murdoch smiled at Rebekah Brooks and replied “this one”.
Four years later, the head of News Corp has made good on his promise by giving Brooks back her old job as chief executive of his British newspapers.
When the Guardian first reported that Brooks could return to News last October, her return was described as “unthinkable” and “unfathomable” by company insiders, as well as her own friends.

AdAge: Burger King Moves Forward With Others on Peace Day Burger
After being shot down by McDonald’s, Burger King is forging ahead with its Peace Day plans, enlisting other chains that jumped on the chance to play peacefully.
Last week, Burger King issued a public letter and web site, pushing McDonald’s to join with its rival for a McWhopper, to be sold on Sept. 21 — or as the UN calls it, Peace Day. McDonald’s quickly rebuffed the idea in a short online letter simply signed “Steve, McDonald’s CEO,” but the story didn’t end there, as other chains chimed in.
Bringing Brooks back is just outright insulting.

That it is Danny. Sadly people will still buy The Sun and The Times. Many will not though and the Brooks and Murdoch brands will be forever tainted, as will the ‘News’ brand.
Lets face it. Hacking a dead teenagers phone is lower than low.
