Mr & Mrs Murder sees 40 per cent ratings lift
Ten’s week of ratings recovery has continued with comedy drama Mr & Mrs Murder up more than 40% on last week’s number.
The show averaged 710,000 viewers last night, according to preliminary overnight metro ratings from OzTAM. Last week the Shaun Micallef and Kat Stewart show rated just 496,000, although it was the same night as the final of The Block: All Stars on Nine.
With Seven and Nine holding their big guns back until after the Easter non-ratings season, this week has seen Ten’s shows faring slightly better.
Mr & Mrs Murder was eighth for the night compared to last week’s 15th. It also finished ahead of ABC1’s Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell.
Which goes to show when there’s nothing else on, viewers prefer Ch10.
I love that the ‘comments’ they’re celebrating from Twitter about how great the show is are the only comments on Twitter about the show. All 7 of them.
‘Loves’ a strong word Simon. Do you love lamp?
Ten should concentrate on its few success stories. Mr and Mrs Murder has all the elements of a top rating entertainment, it needs work and lots of it, but it is basically right on the money.
A concentrated effort by ten to take care of basic good television practice would see them build and grow considerably.
