Here’s an excellent typo from the SMH courtesy of the ABC’s Media Watch.
Dr Mumbo seems to recall that in the movie Cast Away, Tom Hanks had a volleyball called Wilson as a best friend, so perhaps it’s not entirely implausible.
speaking of typos… I’m sure TON Hanks appreciates this reference 🙂
I’m amazed at the sheer number of typos in daily digital media. I’m aware of the obvious pressure to deliver content in a timely fashion but are these articles really going online without having a proper proof-read? If so then you’re ignoring Media 101!
