It must have seemed like a good idea at the time – carry a live feed from AAP to catch the interest rate announcement the moment it dropped.
Presumably what Nine wasn’t expecting was a plug for Seven’s My Kitchen Rules.
Anyone who has watched Nine News with the interest rates announcements would know this feed has been a regular feature.
TV Tonight wrongly claimed it was a technical snafu. I’m yet to see the site owner apologise to Nine over it.
