My Kitchen Rules finale cooks up 2.7m, Seven takes 37% share
The last in the season of My Kitchen Rules – the ratings winner of 2012 so far – amassed 2.675m viewers for Seven when South Australians Leigh and Jennifer were announced as winners last night.
The first hour of the two-hour episode pulled in 2.186m, with the show wiping the floor with its rivals from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
Up against it on Nine was The Big Bang Theory, two episodes of 2 Broke Girls, Two And A Half Men and a new episode of Top Gear. The Big Bang Theory fared best with 768,000, but Top Gear – which was on during the last half hour of MKR – rated with just 271,000.
Ten put up a slightly better fight with an hour of The Biggest Loser, Bondi Vet and NCIS. Loser rated 872,000 while NCIS pulled in 646,000 – down from 884,000 last week.
Wow.
Some people still watch TV.
Wonders never cease.
The last 10 mins of the show where no ads are played amassed 2.675m…
TV networks and their cheeky way of coding shows with so many different names to give them more spots in the top ten.
thank god that dribble is over
^drivel. I am so sick of people thinking the word is actually “dribble”
Mind you, I called it dribble as I was continually dribbling over the two boys. Yum.
‘Who knew’, I hate losers who make out they don’t watch TV. What were you up to instead; charity work, gym, reading novels?
More like playing video games, downloading movies, eating Twisties and drinking Coke Zero because you’re trying to look after your weight (but not your remaining teeth)
bring on Masterchef – MKR is just a copy of it. 10s are given too freely.
@robbo, when most people say they don’t watch TV they usually mean they refer to time-shifted viewing or catch-up TV rather. Plus I think that remark was sarcasm, nice of you to jump straight to being negative rather than reading the comment properly though.
I am sick and tired of other people telling me what i mean lol .
