Myer nabs former Coles exec Amanda McVay as chief customer officer

Myer has appointed former Coles chief customer officer Amanda McVay to lead its customer division, following the departure of Geoff Ikin, who will leave the retailer for Medibank on November 14.

McVay left Coles in May amid a restructuring of its marketing, retail, and retail media functions. She joined the supermarket in early 2023 as chief customer officer, overseeing marketing, media, customer data, loyalty, and retail media.

She also served as a director on the Flybuys board during her tenure.

Before relocating to Australia, McVay spent more than a decade at US retailer Meijer, where she was group vice president of marketing and digital. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at Target in the US over a nine-year stint.
