National manager of digital and TV sales departs SBS

Keiran Beasley, SBS national manager of digital and TV sales, will be stepping down from his role, after 13 years at the broadcaster.

Beasley joined SBS in November 2012 to head up the broadcaster’s sales for the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and had multiple roles at the company, including national brand partnership manager, head of group marketing, NSW state sales manager, and national agency sales manager.

He oversaw the 2018 World Cup as well as SBS annual upfronts from 2013 to 2019. According to SBS, he achieved record sales for the 2026 World Cup, and grew revenue for SBS On Demand.

In a note to staff announcing Beasley’s departure, Lee Fifoot, acting director of media sales, praised his “thoughtfulness, integrity and calm”.

“Keiran has shown that careers don’t have to follow a straight line. Over the years, he has brought his skills, curiosity and leadership to a range of senior roles across the business.

“He’s the kind of colleague who lifts the people around him, and SBS is better for having had him.”

Beasley will stay on until June 26. SBS is expected to begin recruitment on the role in the coming weeks.
